At Foresters FinancialTM, we believe in enriching lives and building strong communities – that’s our purpose, and the reason why we invest time and money in ways we can work together to make a difference, including neighborhood programs, charities, and scholarships.
If there is a student in your family working towards post secondary education, make sure they know about the Foresters Competitive Scholarship Program.
Each year, we offer scholarships for higher learning, including up to 250 new tuition scholarships worth up to $8,000 each. Students with at least 40 hours of community service and a minimum GPA of 2.8 or 70% can apply.
Eligible Foresters members and their family members can receive tuition scholarships that recognize volunteering and community service in addition to good grades. And it’s not just for eligible members – their spouses, children, grandchildren and children under the legal care of an eligible member can also apply.
We want to encourage and support those who make volunteering an important part of their lives, which is why the Foresters Competitive Scholarship Program is different than any other program.
In fact, we believe so strongly in the difference community service makes and the way charitable work can impact volunteers, that volunteerism makes up 65% of the application towards a Foresters scholarship.
