Every year at Foresters Financial, we strive to help young leaders committed to their academics and communities with support for their education. The Foresters Competitive Scholarship gives inspiring students up to \u00a31,000 to help cover their tuition and make their education more affordable. It\u2019s a helpful benefit that can go a long way for deserving students, and we hope more decide to take the leap!<\/p>\n

We reached out to a couple of our 2024 Competitive Scholarship winners to hear what advice they\u2019d give to students applying this year. Here\u2019s what they had to say:<\/p>\n

Eligibility requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

To apply for the scholarship, new applicants and returning candidates must either be a current Foresters member or have a parent, legal guardian, grandparent or spouse who is a member. They must also be 24 years or younger at the time of the application through to the time payment is issued.<\/p>\n

But there are other slightly different requirements for each:<\/p>\n

New applicants are students in their final year of secondary school or are completing their post-secondary education. They also need to meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n
